Our district's five PTAs will host a showing of "Race to Nowhere," a thought-provoking documentary film that questions the current approach to education in American schools and examines the "pressures faced by young people, teachers, and parents in our high-stakes, high pressure public and private education system and culture."  

Following the film, there will be a panel discussion including numerous district administrators, teachers, staff, and students. The event is free, but tickets may be reserved at http://www.racetonowhere.com/state-screenings/MI.
