EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--  Hundreds of people will lace up their shoes this weekend to help find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.

MS is a chronic, often disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system.  Symptoms can range from numbness in limbs to paralysis or loss of vision.  The severity of MS is unpredictable and varies from person to person.  There currently is no cure.

Aquinas College’s Donnelly Center will host the Grand Rapids Walk MS event this Saturday, May 17.  The opening ceremonies start at 9:45 a.m. with the 5k walk beginning at 10 a.m.  Proceeds from the event will go toward MS research and patient support.  For more information, click here.
