EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.— A span of rotting wood fencing along Reeds Lake Trail is being replaced by the city.

On August 5, the East Grand Rapids City Commission approved plans to buy chain link fencing, which will be installed near the Reeds Lake Boulevard North Arm.  The fencing is four-feet high, with black rubber coating, which should match other fencing along the trail.

The city street fund will cover the $3,461 material cost; the Public Works Department will install the fence.
