EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Two local psychologists will celebrate the release of their new book Thursday in East Grand Rapids.

Charlie Donaldson and Randy Flood’s new book, “Mascupathy: Understanding and Healing the Malaise of American Manhood” delves into the influences on male behavior that often results in painful turmoil in relationships, work and joy for men and those who love them.

Donaldson and Flood are the co-founders and directors of the Michigan-based Institute for the Prevention & Treatment of Mascupathy.  Donaldson has more than 25 years of experience in male-centric therapy.  Flood has spent more than two decades developing specialized clinical services for men.

The co-authors will hold a book release event Thursday, May 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Derby Station, located at 2237 Wealthy Street SE.
