High School promotes Healthy High 2010

EAST GRAND RAPIDS - About 500 high school students Saturday will participate in Healthy High 2010, described by organizers as "a day dedicated to pure fun, showing us that by playing games and doing activities with others, we can still enjoy ourselves by simply staying drug and alcohol free."  Some of the activities will include ultimate frisbee, corn-hole, bocce and billiards.  John Morello will offer his one of a kind presentation of "Dirt (NOT "I am dirt").  The day is run by students with the help of Youth Development Director Kathy Szivan and many parents and community volunteers.  The day concludes with a dance.  The fee is $20.00.
