My Town EGR: Croswell Avenue town home proposal goes to city commission

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—  The city commission will take up plans to add two more town homes to Croswell Avenue SE Sept. 15.

Kevin Brant wants to demolish the existing homes at 715 Croswell and 721 Croswell and build two two-story town homes, each with two units.  The two-phase project would include a basement and roof top access, as well as an attached garage for each building.

The planning commission approved the final site plan during its meeting Aug. 12. The city commission begins at 6 p.m. on Monday.

In April, Mosaic Properties began clearing a portion of Croswell Avenue to make space for a new residential development, which included 10 town homes, a standalone home for a family and retail space.
