First High School Drug Test Finds Nothing

This morning, we conducted our first canine drug inspection at the high school.  Two Michigan State troopers, with their canines, worked in conjunction with the EGR Department of Public Safety to conduct the inspection.  They checked three random classrooms after students were moved to other classrooms.  However, all of the students' backpacks and belongings were left in the classrooms during the inspection.  In addition, all the lockers and the senior parking lot were checked.  We are so pleased to report that we had no "hits" during the inspection either inside or outside of the school building.

As mentioned in the attached letter, we are immensely proud of our students in so many aspects, and we greatly appreciate the time you have taken to discuss with your son or daughter the seriousness of involvement with drugs and the accompanying legal and health consequences.  Thank you for your continued support of the East Grand
