Advisory Board appointment process

Advisory Board appointment process

From: http://www.eastgr.org

There are several boards and commissions that serve as advisory groups to the City Commission in a variety of areas, including the Parks & Recreation Commission, Library Commission, Planning Commission, Traffic Commission and the Board of Review. Each year, the City Commission confirms the appointments to these boards as recommended by the Mayor. Mayor Seibold has begun contacting current members to determine interest in serving again. Depending on the responses, there may be openings on some of these boards.

Appointments are usually one-year or three-year terms, depending on the board, and begin July 1st (the start of the City's fiscal year).
